The coal mine transport unit manages:
• delivery of the ordered materials and equipment to coal mine sites
• removal of the dismantled electrical and mechanical equipment from the mine to the repair workshop
• removal of the dismantled support structure from the mine
• removal of waste from the mine
• transport of materials and equipment in the mine
• transport of people with the diesel-powered rack-and-pinion locomotive
• installation, dismantling and inspection of the suspended rail system and floor-mounted rails in the mine.
For transport, floor-mounted battery-powered locomotives and diesel-powered rack-and-pinion locomotives are used. All means of transport are fitted with a barcode to enable control of transport in, along and out of the mine, and identification of their location and cargo at any time.
